AI Awareness

This awareness e-learning is relevant for all professionals working in organizations that use AI.

This is a higher education-level (HBO) e-learning course. No specific prior knowledge is required to participate.

This e-learning provides the required structured introduction to AI. It covers key concepts, business applications, and regulatory compliance under the EU AI Act.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

1. Explain what artificial intelligence (AI) is and how it is used in a business context;
2. Identify safe and effective ways to use AI tools in your daily work;
3. Using basic prompting techniques to obtain relevant and high-quality output from AI systems;
4. Critically assess AI-generated content to ensure its accuracy and appropriateness;
5. Recognize the risks and limitations of AI, including data privacy and ethical concerns;
6. Understand the requirements of the EU AI Act and your responsibilities as a user;
7. Apply internal governance and compliance standards when using AI tools at work;
8. Determine when AI applications require human oversight or escalation;
9. Contribute to a responsible AI culture in your team by adopting best practices;
10. Describe the impact of AI systems and their implementation on the environment and society.

Baseline measurement

The training begins with a short baseline assessment to determine whether you can proceed directly to the final test or should first study the theory.

Final test

You complete this training with an online test. Any retakes can also be done in the learning environment.

Certificate

Upon passing the test, you can immediately download your certificate from the learning environment.

The AI Awareness training is available through our online learning platform, anytime and anywhere. On average, the e-learning takes between one and two hours to complete, depending on your prior knowledge.
