DSI Deficiency Institutional CFA/VBA
The European Securities & Markets Authority (ESMA) guidelines have been in force since January 2018. These guidelines set strict requirements in terms of knowledge and skills for professionals who provide information about investments.
This Deficiency module closes the gap between the VBA or CFA training and the ESMA guidelines, by covering the subjects that are not in the two courses. After completing this course, you will meet, combined with a VBA or CFA Level 3 certificate, one of the admission requirements for the DSI Certification DSI Institutional Investment Advisor and/or Information Provider.
The exam of this course is accredited by DSI. That means that the exam meets the final standards formulated by DSI and gives access to a DSI certification.
This is a course at HBO (higher vocational education) level. This Deficiency module closes the gap between the VBA or CFA training and the ESMA guidelines, by covering the subjects that are not in the two courses.

Set-up and examination
Each subject starts with a baseline measurement. This allows you to determine what you already know about a subject. If you are already familiar with the theory, you can go straight to the test to complete the subject.

You will complete this training with an exam at one of Lamark’s testing centers. The first exam is included in the price of this course. You will find a voucher and instructions in the learning environment. You can book re-exams directly from the learning environment. You pay for these separately.

Diploma Deficiency Institutional CFA/VBA
If you pass the exam, you will receive a diploma for this course. With this, together with CFA or VBA diploma, you will meet one of the admission requirements for the DSI certification Investment Advisor or Investment Information Provider.
The study duration for this course is around 10 hours, depending on your previous knowledge.
