This course is accredited by Holland Quaestor (HQ), the association of Dutch trust offices, and provides employees in the trust sector with 2 PE-points.

The Market Abuse Regulation applies to all employees of financial institutions, such as banks, investment firms and institutions, pension funds and insurers.

The Market Abuse e-learning is a course at HBO (higher vocational education) level. Specific knowledge is not required, but we do assume that you have basic knowledge of financial services.

The Market Abuse Awareness e-learning provides insight into the regulations regarding market abuse. After completing the course, you will be able to recognise signals of market abuse and comply with the Market Abuse Regulation. You will also know what to do in cases of (the appearance of) market abuse and what measures to take in order to prevent market abuse.

The main goal is that we all maintain trust in the financial markets and to make sure that investors, your customers, your employer and finance professionals such as yourself are not harmed.

You can follow this Awareness training in our online learning environment, wherever and whenever it suits you. The training takes between one and two hours to complete, depending on your prior knowledge about the subject.
