Schedule an online meetingAs a financial professional, you can make an important contribution to the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. By being able to recognise suspicious transactions and knowing how and when to report them, you can help your organisation comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft) and prevent financial and reputational damage. By completing this Wwft Awareness course, you will be familiar with the Wwft provisions and meet the mandatory training requirements.
This course is accredited by Holland Quaestor (HQ), the association of Dutch trust offices, and provides employees in the trust sector with 2 PE-points.
The Wwft Awareness e-learning is developed for professionals in the financial sector who engage in regular contact with customers and need to be familiar with the provisions of the Wwft.
This is an e-learning at HBO (higher vocational education) level. Specific knowledge is not required, but we do assume that you have basic knowledge of financial services.
During the Wwft Awareness e-learning you will learn what the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft) entails and what role financial institutions play in the fight against money laundering. Through practical examples you will learn about money laundering, the financial sector as a gatekeeper and monitoring during the relationship. After completing this training, you will know how to recognise unusual transactions and when and how to report them.
The training starts with a baseline measurement to determine whether you can take the test immediately or whether it is best to study the theory first.
You will complete this course with a test in the learning environment. You can also take resits in the learning environment.
After passing the test, you can download your personal Wwft certificate from the learning environment
You can complete the Wwft Awareness course in our online learning environment, wherever and whenever it suits you.The training takes between one and two hours to complete, depending on your prior knowledge about the subject.
We can adapt the Wwft Awareness e-learning to different types of financial institutions, such as payment service providers. You can ask for the possibilities for your type of organisation during the registration process.
